While attending church this Sunday my pastor quoted a passage that was profound in terms of its message toward alcohol. No matter if you are a religious person or not, the meaning in this message is something we all know to be true.
Proverbs 23:31-32 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. 32 At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.
Does the alcohol own you or do you own it? If you let it control you it bites like a serpent and stings like an adder.
