Snap, Crackle and Pop into place

Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

I was talking to a buddy the other day who is participating in the Live 4 Five winter break. He was complaining about being sick for the last two weeks with nausea, a runny nose, gas and various other symptoms. As he typically drinks alcohol about every other day, it was more than a coincidence that this “sickness” had strong similarities to the symptoms of withdrawal. Just like all of us participating, the toxins are leaving the body and good things are happening.

The good news? Now that week two is over, so are many of the withdrawal symptoms.

Week three is a pivotal time. This is where you experience a shrinking belly, slimming face, soft tong (no tingling) and what I like to call Snap, Crackle and Pop. Now that the toxins are exiting stage left, so is the joint stiffness. As you move about in week three, you will experience a popping in your joints, ankles, shoulders, jaw etc. This is not a painful popping, it’s more like things popping back into place, As you can imagine, this loosening also brings back a tremendous amount of balance which I intend to leverage into more surfing.

Just under three weeks left to go and many good things yet to come for you.

Every day I hear of more people participating. Share what you are experiencing, it would be great to hear from you.
